LTS' relationship with the Sikh Temple Society in Kelowna spans nearly two decades and reflects our long-term approach to system design, reliability, and stewardship. Originally commissioned in 2007, LTS delivered a complete sound and video installation for the main temple and auxiliary spaces, anchored by an Adamson professional loudspeaker system selected for its clarity, coverage control, and longevity.
As technology standards evolved, LTS continued to support and modernize the facility. In 2017, the video infrastructure was upgraded to align with contemporary signal distribution and control requirements, improving flexibility and usability throughout the building. A further upgrade followed in 2022, when LTS supplied and installed laser projection technology, delivering higher brightness, improved reliability, and reduced maintenance for long-term operation.
Today, LTS remains an active technical partner to the temple, ensuring continuity of operation across both audio and video systems. Notably, the original Adamson sound system installed in 2007 remains fully functional, continuing to serve the space nearly twenty years later—an outcome that speaks to thoughtful system design, quality equipment selection, and ongoing professional support.
Audio
A fully integrated, multi-zone sound system designed for speech intelligibility, musical accuracy, and long-term reliability across the entire facility. Installed in 2007, the core system remains operational today.
- Adamson Spektrix loudspeaker system deployed in the main prayer hall, providing controlled coverage, high output, and exceptional clarity for spoken word and music
- Adamson Spektrix subwoofer delivering focused low-frequency reinforcement without overpowering speech intelligibility
- Adamson CB-1 and G6 distributed loudspeakers installed throughout secondary spaces including foyers, banquet areas, kitchens, prayer rooms, patios, and exterior zones
- Lab.gruppen C-Series multi-channel amplification, supplying efficient, high-headroom power with centralized rack-based deployment
- XTA Electronics DP424 Signal Processor used for system tuning, loudspeaker protection, and long-term operational stability
- Allen & Heath mixing console supporting live services, events, and multi-microphone operation
- Comprehensive microphone system, including handheld, podium, overhead, lapel, and wireless options for flexible use
- Multi-zone volume control and routing infrastructure, allowing independent level control across different areas of the facility
- Extensive low-voltage cabling and infrastructure, installed to support clean signal paths, system expansion, and serviceability
Video
A scalable, infrastructure-driven video system that has evolved over multiple upgrade phases to meet changing standards while preserving the original investment. Upgraded in 2017 and 2022.
- Centralized UHD video matrix system, enabling flexible routing of multiple video sources to displays and projection zones throughout the facility
- HDBaseT and HDMI signal distribution, supporting long-distance, high-quality video transport with minimal latency
- Wall-mounted touchscreen control panels, providing intuitive system operation for staff and volunteers
- Dedicated control processor, integrating video switching, source selection, and user interface logic
- Laser projection upgrade (2022) featuring high-brightness, long-life projectors for improved image quality, reliability, and reduced maintenance
- Custom ceiling-mounted projector rigging, professionally installed and aligned for consistent image geometry and long-term stability
- Integrated playback sources, supporting live video, recorded media, and auxiliary inputs for services and special events
